Greenhorn: A Font That Breathes Life into Handmade Creations
Where Greenhorn Shines
Candle Labels: I used Greenhorn for a batch of rustic candle labels, pairing it with a clean sans serif font for the product name. The contrast worked beautifully, drawing attention to the bold title while keeping the rest of the text easy to read.
Birthday Invitations: For a custom birthday card, I paired Greenhorn with a simple script font to create a whimsical, hand-drawn feel. The result was a design that felt both elegant and playful.
Farmhouse Signs: When designing a set of farmhouse-style signs for a local market, Greenhorn became the star. Its friendly, approachable style fit perfectly with the cozy, rustic aesthetic.
Wedding Welcome Boards: One of my favorite uses was for a wedding welcome board. The font added a sense of nostalgia and charm that complemented the vintage-themed event.
Printable Wall Art: Greenhorn also works well for wall art. I created a series of minimalist designs using the font for the main text, leaving plenty of white space to let the typography speak for itself.
